The original production of 35mm: A Musical Exhibition has been over for a while (has it really been 8 months?!) but there’s still plenty of news to report.
To begin with, 35mm: A Musical Exhibition composer/lyricist Ryan Scott Oliver was featured on Playbill as one of “The Contemporary Musical Theatre Songwriters You Should Know.” The piece also features pictures from 35mm, and samples of “Leave, Luanne” and “The Ballad of Sara Berry” (both available on the 35mm Cast Recording).
In other news, the 35mm Vocal Selections will be released at the end of October! Almost the entire score will be in the book, including the previously unreleased “Leave, Luanne”, “Mama Let Me In”, and “Why Must We Tell Them Why”. You can pre-order the book at Ryan Scott Oliver’s website.
